The AW21 announced from Copenhagen Fashion Week

The AW21 season to be held from 2nd - 5th of February 2021. The line-up for the upcoming edition are featuring 33 brands from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Germany, and the UK. With nine brands returning to the schedule and the announcement of a Talent Slot dedicated to a rising star, AW21 is set to reiterate Copenhagen Fashion Week’s dedication to showing leading nordic design to a global audience.

“Once again we are proud to present a strong and dedicated line up of talent that surmise the Scandinavian leadership across the international fashion industry. Through the community fostered amongst our AW21 brands, we are highlighting the importance of connection to reinforce our fashion week internationally in uncertain times.” — Cecilie Thorsmark, CEO Copenhagen Fashion Week

Carrying on from last season, the format of Copenhagen Fashion Week will remain hybrid, upholding the restrictions imparted by Covid19, exploring new showcasing methods and embracing the potential of digital opportunities. Launching a new website in anticipation of the AW21 edition with innovative creative agency Moon International, Copenhagen Fashion Week will be going live with a presentation of digital and physical showcases, alongside a series of designer Q&A’s, panel talks, instagram takeovers and live reviews with the fashion industry across the globe.

Presenting both new and innovative voices, from the likes of the ten finalists of the talent competition Designers’ Nest to industry leaders such as Henrik Vibskov, Stine Goya and Ganni, we see a return to the schedule of a selection of brands including Rotate, House of Dagmar and Wood Wood. Dedicated to supporting emerging talent, Copenhagen Fashion Week is excited to announce its new Talent Slot that will be committed to showcasing an emerging visionary designer as chosen by the Show Committee jury each season.
